The 2018 Toyota C-HR’s #10 ranking is based on its score within the 2018 Affordable Subcompact SUVs category. Yes, the C-HR is a decent subcompact SUV, but it’s one with limited appeal. It has a long list of standard safety features and a strong predicted reliability rating, but it’s all downhill from there for this sport utility vehicle. An anemic engine dismisses any notion of “sport,” and a shortage of passenger and cargo space doesn’t give you much “utility.” It does have the “vehicle” thing going for it though.
